In a recent poll by workingmother.com, it was found that 87% of their readers have “never participated in employee resource groups (ERGs).”   These support groups are generally used to help diversity recruitment and retention.  In addition to that, organizations incorporate mentoring programs to their succession planning in order to preserve the employees that have the potential to enhance their career within the organization.  Therefore, if you have not checked in with your HR or Leadership and Development department, we recommend you do to see if these programs are being offered.  If they are not, please give us a call, or email us so that we may provide you with some literature that will explain the importance a mentoring program is to you, and the many ways your organization will benefit from the program.
